James Oliver at the Animal Health Trust is leading the investigation into Glaucoma. The Golden Retriever is one of the Breeds he has chosen to include in his PHD study. So far he has examined 230 Golden Retrievers and his report will be published when available. The AHT have announced they will be genome sequencing for Glaucoma, and they will finance this.
